A library which is also called the ocean of knowledge is essential to make ourselves well versed with all pieces of information. We have a spacious library which is well stocked, well-furnished and supplemented with the number of monthly, periodical & yearly magazines written by renowned Indian and International authors. The library is continuously enriched with new books in each discipline. We have sufficient numbers of books and journals.
In the age of IT advancements, the college has an E-Library where the students are provided easy access to E-Learning Audio-Video Lectures, E-Books, etc. For this purpose, various Video Lecturers have been uploaded to the college website. Various software and E-Books are uploaded on the Computers for easy access to students.
The biotechnology laboratory is well equipped with all hi-tech apparatus required for research and practical work. The lab is equipped with basic equipment like Laminar Air Flow, Autoclave, Micro Centrifuge, Rotary Shaker, B.O.D., Ph Meter, Hot Plate & Deep Freeze. The lab also has PCP, m TGGE & Spectrophotometer.
The chemistry laboratory is well organized, properly ventilated, and contains all the necessary chemicals and apparatus like Kipp's Apparatus. Distillation Apparatus, Analytical balance, Micropipettes, etc. It is also well equipped with the latest equipment such as UV-VIS. Spectrophotometer, Ultracentrifuge, Rotators, Shaker, and Electronic weighing balance to carry out experiments.
The lab has various models & botanical charts for easy appreciation by the students. It has the facility of a Digital pH meter, Rotary Shaker, Laminar Air Flow & Digital Electronic Weighing balance to carry out the various Botany experiments. It is well equipped with all the latest equipment like - Electronic Microscope & Microtome.
The zoology laboratory is well equipped with all the latest equipment like Microtome, Light Microscope, Centrifuge, Machine, pH Meter, Electrophoresis, PCR, etc. Besides these, the lab is enriched with various museum specimens, microscopes, slides, charts & models for proper demonstration of experiments to the students.
The college has a well-equipped PTC laboratory with laminar airflow, autoclave, rotator shaker, and centrifuge & culture chamber. Students perform various experiments like another culture, embryo culture; shoot tip culture, seed culture & root cultures, etc.
The laboratory is well equipped. It consists of instruments related to digital electronics, semiconductor devices, optical devices, and electrical circuits. There are many display boards, circuit diagrams related to various electronic components, and charts for various practicals so that the students may recognize and apply them in experiments.
The state-of-the-art computer labs are fully equipped with all the latest facilities. There are three labs. A, B, and C with 300+ computers. The computers are Dual Core Processors. There is a 24 x 7 broadband internet facility for students & faculties. Separate labs. for Microsoft Office Specialist online examination and Tally Certification are also available.
TThe college has a Micro-Processor lab. to meet the requirements of digital electronics and architecture discipline. It has VMC 8509 training kit based on an 8085 microprocessor with an LCD. Through this kit, the students can communicate with the outside world using a keyboard having 64 ASCLL keys and an LCD of 20” x 2”. This kit also gives the advantage of interacting with the CRT terminal and printer.
An English Language Lab. has been set up with the state of art cutting-edge technology for the enhancement of spoken English and written communication. The students and faculty members are provided with 90 hours of training at three-level through the comprehensively crafted syllabus. This lab is set up to provide a world-class facility for the students for learning the English language and improve their vocal strength.
When students live far away from their families they need an atmosphere where they can feel comfortable and fulfill their motive of getting an education in a healthy environment. They need proper care and affection so that they can concentrate on their studies with a peaceful mind. So we focus on all these facilities to be provided to students coming to our hostel.

At Rawat P.G. Girls College many students come from all across the nation to get an education so to make them feel as if they are in their own home, a homely atmosphere is provided in the hostel. Caring Warden's tight security and airy rooms with good ventilation help students focus on academics. All rooms are well furnished with wooden tables, chairs, beds, and wardrobes for all students. Personal attention is given to every student. Lots of recreational activities like excursions, meditations, and exercising are frequently framed to bring out the emotional psychological & intellectual development of the hostellers.
College not only focuses on academics but also on the health of young learners for that purpose. A hygienic cafeteria lies on our campus which provides healthy, delicious delicacies during and after college hours. The main focus is given to the nutrition level of food items because we know that a healthy nation resides in healthy youth.
Spacious and well-ventilated classrooms are well suitable to enhance the teaching-learning process. Activities rooms are well furnished with types of equipment. The dance room is occupied with all sorts of the music system to develop dancing skills. The music room consists of various musical instruments Tabla, Guittar, Synthesiser, Harmonium, etc. The art room is occupied with various materials related to different art forms. Here students can learn so many things according to their interest areas.
Rawat College encourages sports skills among students because we know that team spirit, discipline and dedication are virtues that are found only in games, so to develop these values among students, we focus on sports activities in college.
The college encourages all students to participate in sports activities and physical training. College sends promising students to the training programs conducted by the specialized training instructors of the University Campus. The college organizes “Sports Week” every year when a whole lot of events like Karate, Chess, Kho-Kho, Rope Mallakhamb, etc. are conducted. Students are also encouraged to participate in indoor games like Carom, Chess, and Table-Tennis. Besides these, emphasis is also given to Yoga and Martial Arts.Overall Infrastructure Facility
